Building Our Future While Preserving Our Past
At TP-OTC, we adopt a holistic and responsible management approach to protect and sustain cultural heritage.
As TP-OTC, we proceed with a mindset that embodies the awareness and spirit of cultural heritage ensuring the preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and its transmission to future generations.
Based on this principle, the Cultural Heritage Management Plan and Chance Find Procedure, prepared by our team of expert cultural heritage representatives with many years of experience working in the region, are implemented at every stage of our operations. Construction activities reflect a continuous and physical transformation between the past and the future.
To minimize the impact of this development on historically significant areas, all our stakeholders, especially our construction occupational health, safety, and environmental teams, receive regular training in this regard. This comprehensive management system aims to identify current and potential impacts on cultural heritage, clearly define relevant roles and responsibilities, institutionalize monitoring and reporting procedures, and meet training needs. Thus, in accordance with the scope of IFC Performance Standard VIII, we are committed to minimizing the negative impacts of our activities on both the ecosystem and cultural values.
