Contract Signed with Saipem for the “Sakarya Gas Field Development Project – Phase III”
As TP-OTC, on 10 September 2025, we signed a new offshore contract with Saipem (Italy) within the scope of the third phase of our Sakarya Gas Field Development Project.
Phase III encompasses the installation of a new dedicated Floating Production Unit (FPU), Osman Gazi, tied back to 27 wells located in the Sakarya and Amasra fields, and the connection of this unit to our onshore facility in Filyos on Türkiye’s Black Sea coast via a new trunkline.
Under the contract, Saipem’s scope of work covers the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of eight (8) rigid flowlines and the Gas Export Pipeline (GEP)—approximately 183 km in length and 24 inches in diameter—linking the offshore field to Filyos at water depths of up to 2,200 meters. The overall contract duration is approximately three (3) years, and the offshore campaign will be executed in 2027 by Saipem’s Castorone pipelay vessel.
